Podiatry
The Podiatry Service helps people with foot and lower limb conditions that may affect their health, comfort or mobility. The service focuses on preventing serious complications, relieving pain and helping people remain active and independent. This includes support for people with long-term conditions such as diabetes and circulatory problems that can affect foot health.

About the team
The service is delivered by registered podiatrists with specialist expertise in foot health and operates Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm excluding Bank Holidays. They assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care where required. Treatment may take place in local clinics or, when appropriate, in a patient's home.
Who this service is for
We can usually help if:
- You have diabetes-related foot health risks
- You have rheumatoid arthritis
- You have peripheral neuropathy
- You have peripheral vascular disease
- You have foot ulcers, infections or tissue damage
- You have children and young people aged 0 to 19 with eligible foot or lower limb conditions
We may not be the right service if:
- You are not registered with a GP in Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley or Swale
- Your primary diagnosis is a mental health condition
