Wound Medicine Centre (WMC), Sittingbourne

The Wound Medicine Centre provides specialist assessment and treatment for people with complex wounds who are able to attend clinic appointments. The service focuses on promoting healing, improving comfort and reducing the risk of complications.

About the team

The clinic is led by specialist nurses with expertise in complex wound care and supported by experienced healthcare staff. The team provides ongoing assessment, treatment, monitoring and advice throughout your care. This service operates Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 7:30pm and weekends and Bank Holidays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

We can usually help if:

  • You are a Swale residents
  • You have complex wounds requiring specialist treatment
  • You are able to attend clinic appointments

We may not be the right service if:

  • You are unable to attend clinic appointments
  • You live outside the commissioned Swale area
